So we now know that the minnows we have to face in the FA Trophy are Ashford Town (Middx).
Not the mob we played three seasons ago. They were a pub team that we made look like Brazil and if it hadn't been for a moment of Darran Rowbotham magic (well worth his ??400 per wk that week) we would have been sent off to the mouth off the channel tunnel for a replay.
Wouldn't have been so bad I suppose I could have looked up an ex of mine who lives there....sorry mind was wandering.
Here is the low down on the middlesex version (i.e. posh folk)

I hope this lot aren't as "dangerous" as the no-hopers the Maggots beat at the weekend...
Here is something entertaining I read the other day...
A post of WSM's forum about how absolutely pants Danny O'Hagan is.

I am currently watching the Champions League build up in Sky...Bloody hell, how long do they want to drag a 90 minute match out for.
Speak to you guys later
...Imagine if you can a country where children spend dark nights begging on your doorstep for any scraps of food or cakes that you may have.
Explosions go off in the background, lighting up the night sky. On the breeze you can hear the shouts of a woman taken by surprise by the intensity of the rockets "boom".
Where are you... Basra? no... Kabul? Getting a bit nearer...
Must be the former Yugoslavian republics somewhere?
No... You are imagining being in any bastard town or city in the uk over the past few days.
Kids "Trick or Treating" scavenging food off you or else they'll let your tyres down or put paint through your letter box.
Fireworks, once exclusive on 5th November now any day or more especially night in the week before or after that "Magical" date.
What a country eh?
Guy Fawkes-a lot to answer for...
Oh Daddsie what have you done??
The NonLeagueYeovilSCUMpaper is a place for green folk not for those of claret and blue. I occasionally visit their little website thing and today lo and behold, YOU ARE ON THERE!!!
They hate us and always have from the Tony Williams era onwards (although last I heard he had dropped them and become a Tiverton fan)
I am going to post the link to your article on the NLP site, but dont let it happen again!!

God it feels good to be back in the land of the blog. Even if I cant figure out how to get ride of the maggotesque black and white (shite) colour scheme.
Firstly the Tony Adams debate...Great news he is back in football, worrying news if you have spent ??35 on a ticket for this dinner. Please god dont let Gerrard Hoofier be a late replacement. If his team can make you go to sleep (which Liverpool certainly can), goodness knows how boring his conversation would be.
They could of course send his replacement of a few years ago Phil Thompson, but with a nose like his it is doubtful he'd be allowed so near Weymouth Pavillion during panto season...
Second on the hitlist tonight is David Swine of the Dorset Evening Echo.
Come on Hodder and Tizzard, stop defending this dinosaur of the journalistic world (see Terras forum) http://www.confguide.com/terras.mpl . His is both biased and ill informed and your argument is kind of undermined when you admit he has allegedly nicked stuff of your forum.
Sucker!!
I have been bored recently and have been occupying my down time trying to think of who could be the Terras sponsor next season once the current deal with Park Engineering runs out.
I think we all know the rumour that this lot...
...are interested in taking over from TAG as our kit manufacturer (which is a bugger for those who have bought the new white away shirt)
but who could be the main sponsor...?
THE SUN???
A new taxi firm called "Claridges Carriages"??
The Blogger will keep his ear to the ground and let you know...
Laters.
So its a piss easy draw for us in the trophy then.
The old cynic in me is tempted to say things like "we'll have to be at our best to beat whose in front of us" and all that jazz.
But tbh I am a bit sick of all that and dont feel that its the 'new' Weymouth way.
We should beat whichever side out of Dartford and Ashford (Middx) gets through, end of story.
I have just been watching the Premiership match between Birmingham and Charlton. On paper this looked a well boring 0-0 draw, but incredibly I stuck with it and their were 40 shots on goal and a narrow 2-1 away win.
I have to say the thought of tha FA Cup being on tv this weekend has mixed feelings for me and all Blogger fans that I know.
Every year I watch the minnows (in this case Thurrock are first up against Luton) and hope they can cause an upset. But part of me always thinks it should be us, and one of the great annoyances of supporting this football club has been our annual inability to make the first round proper.
I have started searching the web again for more of the sort of crap that has been sorely missing from this site and hope to inject some humour and quality journalism soon...(ish)
Laters.
Just seen the link for it on the official unofficial website. Top drawer and well worth a go...

Yay TerrasBlog is not only back, it is also now brought to you in association with our new sponsor.
Thanks to Weymouth Electrical Services for their support of this website.
I see that http://www.weymouth-mad.co.uk/ is still going but appears to be sailing along as a ghost ship!!
It is automatically being updated I think. I did email the site owners to ask who owned the site and if it could be transferred to TerrasBlog ownership, but alas they never wrote back.
I watched the Premership last night as like a peasant I didnt have enough money to go out!! Wayne Rooney is a decent player and all that but why when his shorts fell down did the commentator feel the need to claim "that will be something to tell Atomic Kitten"...well forgive me for pissin on his fire, but if my shorts had fallen down during a top football fixture in front of 30,000+ people and millions on tv, I would not be falling over myself to tell some pop stars I was trying to impress.
There is a fascinating (ie. yawn inducing!!) feature on the non-league papers website, here is the link if you can face it!! http://www.nonleaguedaily.com/news/index.php?&newsmode=FULL&nid=13584
Well its good to be back and bloggin...feel free to use the message board to post your comments etc.
...but the Blog is back and whats more there is still a shop, there is still an archive and there is still a message board/forum.
Right thats the blog set up, I am off to watch the Premiership and dream of winning the Trophy.
More crap to come soon...
So we are off and running in the Trophy and at long last we seem capable, competent and not a sack of crap.
And wonder of wonders http://www.the-magpies.net/ this bunch of muppets have won as well. Albeit against a pub team.
Apparently there was that few supporters at Leyton, the stadium announcer read the crowd out before the match because it was quicker than reading the players names.
