TerrasBlog - Putting the 'F' into Football...

Back from the Brink!!!

Thanks for all the messages of encouragement.

They have prompted me to get back on the blog!

It has been 6 weeks or so of absolute chaos at Blogger towers... Some of you readers will know what has been occuring but for those of you who don't it goes a little like this.

Blogger met a new young lady. He wasnt too keen to have her as a full time Mrs Blogger. So Blogger made up a job which meant he lives abroad 3 weeks out of 4...

(For any ladies reading this- I apologise)

So for a while things looked good. A girlfriend who only wants to see you one week a month!! Think of the savings financially!!

It also gave Blogger the opportunity to see some other ladies as well.

But then Mrs Blogger got suspicious and a chance meeting in the town centre meant a quick reaction for the Blogger who had to come up with a "back for an urgent meeting" excuse.

At the moment it is seat of your pants stuff, but as my Gran used to say "you only come this way once"...

Dont grass me up any of you lot, ok?

This has been taking up a lot of time and to be honest whilst its all been going on the Terras have turned backwards (before a recent revival).

Hopefully we are coming out of the blip and will now push on for the title.

fingers crossed

As for that bunch of donuts known as the Glovers!! what a laugh. "Will you ever win away?" is one of the chants of the moment I would have thought.

They lost somewhere spooky the other night as well didnt they?

(Huddersfield stat fans)

Nothing more to say in the build up to the big one.

Come on lads give me something to cheer about this weekend (even if my love life is about to get messy!!)

Thursday nights eh...

Thursday nights when you are skinto... what are they good for???

Well in Blogger towers they are for finally getting round to washing the one set of bedding in my possession.

Getting angry at adverts on tv.

There is one for sauce with that twot off gimme gimme gimme... James somethingorover and fat bearded turd Jeremy from Airline babbles on about electrical goods.

Thank god for Charmed on UK Living... A Girls programme I hear you say? true, but packed with foxy chicks.

Rose McGowan- Thursday fave

We are also trying to find a TerrasBlog pointless website of the week as people think that our site is pretty pointless.

So here is the first effort. An utterly crap pointless waste of webspace, Click Here

Even better, this website has a name with a perverted double entendre!!

Back onto matter Terras and it appears that CiG is being true to the word and signing a player a day at the moment.

Graeme Power
Tom Bottomley

Good luck lads, more to come apparently.

Its all gone a bit quiet on the Adidas deal as far as the Blog can establish. This was a hot story the other week but has gone cold. Apparently the home strip will be changed next year to a new design and with a new sponsor.

No details on who that is either yet!!

Will keep our lugs to the ground.

Laters

David Laws is back...

Who'd have thought it eh...?

LORD OF THE WESSEX-Return of the King

The greatest living norhterner comes back and scores a goal.

It makes you wonder doesn't it? There has to be a place on the staff for this legend once he hangs up his boots. There has to be.

SO let me be the first to say it loud and proud LiG !!!!!

In other news Leeds are totally fcuked. I wonder if its worth CiG putting in a cheeky bid for James Milner?

The situation there is so bad, you never know what might happen!!!!!

James Milner stats from a well dorky website

Wasnt it hilarious to see the Glovers come unstuck against rock bottom conference bound Carlisle at the weekend?

http://images.google.com/images?q=tbn:AMA9msP4DTgC:news.bbc.co.uk/olmedia/1430000/images/_1430579_carlislelogotwo300.jpg

They are certainly better as the under-dog Yeovil as they dont do being the favourite very well (unless of course they are playing liverpool).

Incredibly the Blogger was able to send a spy into 'The Avenue Stadium' at the weekend to see that shower of shite draw against a team whose nickname is 'The Gingerbreadmen'.

We have all had a bloody good laugh at their expense recently, what with dicking them 8-0 and the fact they only have a couple of hundred fans. My spy said that there crowds are imoroving and here is the evidence...

That tinge of excitment

This is an exciting time for all Weymouth fans (and I dont just mean because "School of Rock" is out this week).

Jack-Ready to Rock

New players could be on their way, other teams are making a rats arse of catching us up in the league and reports reach me that there is nearly a whole page in the London Evening Standard about CiG, Ian Ridley and Rory Allen.

For those of you who cant be bothered to find it yourself here is the link...

Whats the story? missing Rory

Our Andy Warhol 10 minutes is underway!!!

Hednesford wont be an easy match for the Terras tomorrow though. Direct, uncomplicated and retro. That's their supporters haircuts though not their Murphy's approach to the beautiful game.

'Alright Skip?-Dont diss the midlands. Get down and get with it!!'

Women are RUBBISH!!!

You may guess from the headline that Blogger is yet again having Chick trouble...

Why don't you phone, why don't you want COMMITMENT! etc. etc.

Britney, give me some fcuking space!!!!

On to the Terras news and despite some doom and gloom after two league matches without a win and goals flying past Jase, we have Robbie Pethick back in terra-cotta and blue.

http://images.google.com/images?q=tbn:DBwIaTL4bygC:www.seagulls58.freeserve.co.uk/images/players/pethick.gif

I remember him from first time round and I am hopeful that time will not have aged him and his abilities will still be intact.

Goodbye to Lee Molyneaux though. 45 shambolic minutes and mobility to match the stadium he is named after... not to be missed.

Scouring the fixtures has revealed a big day coming up for CiG and Lee Philpott away in Cambridge. Both played in the city and you never know we may get some more support from United fans who remember this duo who played in the same Ambers side as Dion Dublin.

Right back to watching CiG on Sky with Richard Keys... What a terrible suit that hairy muppet is wearing tonight!!!

Back and Bloggin'

Welcome back Blog fans. Time and hardware issues have limited the output from this site but its nice to know the efforts are appreciated and here is an update dedicated to Lodmoor Terra, who wanted to know where I'd been!!!

Lodmoor Terra-A caring soul!!

So what has been happening in the world in 2004 then?

Old friend of this site Britney Spears has got married and divorced (Blogger is still in the frame then) and now a perverted old git is on her case...

Britneys new boyfriend

On the Terras front CiG has cemeted his legend status with the did he, didn't he have a car-park brawl with that waste of skin Jamie Brown.

The other main talking point has been the has he, hasn't he been sacked saga relating to Mark Morris.

All in good time, all in good time...

Regular readers will remember my search through the world wide web to find the legendary "Geoff Butler Dance Troupe".

Well it must be something about utterly hopeless football managers, I will leave you with this picture from the Mark Morris Dancers!!!!

Its been a while...

Hi Blog fans, I will try and update the blog with some news but in the meantime here is the best game currently on the internet...

Jonny Wilkinson Kicking Game/

Once the dust has settled...

I have still not calmed down after the unbelievable ending to our derby match with those northern muppets yesterday.

I was upset at the start of the match with Tizzard claiming TerrasBlog is all about him and that the jokes are too complicated for him.

Ok, here it is simplified, you are a dick and you support a shite team.

As for Jamie Brown, if I did that to you on the street I would expect to go to prison for it, but you get to look the big man in front of your own 30 or so spectators for trying to end the career of a player who really shouldnt have to be on a football field with utter pond life such as yourself.

Come on Eddie Belt, end this fools career with Dorchester before (a) he really hurts someone or (b) he embarasses your little family club even more...

Thumbs up for the Terras fans for not getting involved with the police after being hurded into a terracing area way too small to support the numbers in there. This sort of small minded management of a football club should be punished in a very strong way. Its not as if Dorch were caught out by the numbers travelling and couldnt make provision and it makes me really angry that their build up to the match was more focused on not selling 8-0 shirts rather than supporter safety. Dorchester, you should hang your heads in shame.

I'll comment further when I calm down.

Bored at Work

God work is boring today. Plenty to do but little interest in doing it.

Still hyper after the boxing day massacre and as CiG said on "on the ball" yesterday..."We go again".

What he didnt say was "live the dream", which is quality and despite being used to death in the programme really sums our club up at the moment.

As we know here at TerrasBlog, Eddie Belt does not like being left out in the publicity stakes and he has come up with his own catch-phrase which we can exlusively reveal.

"Second Best".

The hype is already building for the big match with Crawley on Saturday and Deshorta and Daddsie have already been winding them up on their forum.
Crawley Town Forum

I would much rather focus on concentrating on making sure that (a) my flu is gone by new years eve and (b) that we dont suffer an "after the Lord Mayors Show" performance against the Maggots ( Dorchester Town Homepage )

Please note the message below as we are getting many ad hoc ideas for the TerrasBlog store but we need a single place to collate and review them.

(I will make sure that this part of the members area allows guests to add comments)

Speak soon.

Your Thoughts???

As well as getting loads of 'hits' the Terrasblog shop is looking to progress as the year develops. We are also still keen to become semi-legit with the clubs blessing.

To get the year off to a decent start there is a link to follow where you can put your requests for t-shirt/mug designs in.
